Ethiopean Mother & Child
Their story came to me from an online article about the war in Northern Ethiopia. The picture was taken at a refugee camp, and here I wanted to remove the background to focus on the mother and her child. The mother's intense look into the camera is one of the reasons that I had to paint their story.
