Archangel Zadkiel
Archangel Zadkiel is my original oil painting, from imagination, using my own approach to orthodox icon techniques. Completed over many months, this unique painting was glazed with layers of oil paint. The purple on the cloak are layers of blue and red, mixing optically. This layering technique gives a unique radiance to the work.
